Hottest spark plug i can run in a sa50?

Post by jlynn433 »

I just recently started modding my bike with the removal of the variator restriction and drilling out of the 4 baffles in the exhaust  . i pulled the head off the engine and realized that i had a very weird piston wash. it is almost like a white/tan ashy look. i will solve that later. i just want to run a hotter plug in it till i get my polini corsa 72 big bore kit, so any advice is greatly appreciated, but just make sure u know what you're talking about lol

You do not want a hot plug, you want a cold plug or you will end up with a hole in you piston.

All you did was make it noisier and probably hurt performance by screwing up the factory designed system.

Spark plug recommendations.

ok cool im running a BR6HSA plug in it right now. the bike is a 2000 Elite S with the AF16E motor. i know i prob messed stuff up with the muffler now that i look back on it, but in putting the polini corsa 72cc kit on in a short while with a new muffler so it cant do too much damage
