jetting help!!!

jetting help!!!

im running a 55 pilot and a 152 main on my 28mm oko, still in brake in so mains fine for now. but scoots boggs out of the hole on the 3 position on needle... if i lower the needle my temps spike when i let off the throttle. so my thinking is i need a different needle??? any imput is appreciated.... set up is below for mini stroker... thanks
2001 Elite,50mm bbk, 44.1 mm mini stroker
28mm oko carb, no restriction air filter, ct intake
zx clutch, polini for ruckus vari, pg long, 7.7 gears

1999 Elite 51mm bbk, oko vari, sef ramp plate, 8.44 gears

So lower the needle and up the pilot jet.

Changing out the needle for a different one is only for ultra-fine tuning. You need to get it much closer before you would even consider it.

the main jet is way to big. drop down to a 145 and see if it gets better.

what temps are you running at and what does it spike to? dont drop to that 145 yet. I just seen what your setup is. what do you have the air fuel screw setting at?

it can idle all day and never hit over 280, my temps are 350-365 cruzing in the 1/4 to 3/4 throttle area and when i let off, it doesnt really spike if anything it cools.. my air fuel mixture is like 1 to 1-1/4 turns out...
