Zuma q's

I am looking into buying a Zuma, but I dont know a whole lot about them. Which are the best to add performance parts to? Which year and such..I know there are two different motors, a vertical and a horizontal one, but is one better then the other? Or is one preferred over the other. Any info you guys have would be appreciated.

I have one and am very happy with it, its fast, its smooth, and i love its big tires. as for performance parts i think anything from 96 and and up is pretty much all the same parts wise. if u wanna see heres a site:
