ZMUDs setup or something similar is pretty good bang for the buck if you're looking at 'something on the cheap'.ZMUD wrote:I would say 82cc bbk,8:44 gears,100jet and a uni. The scooter in my avaitar has all that for $175 and runs 55mph all day. I bought a complete bbk, gears and a jet from tazland here on the forum and i've done 3 of the same kits for my friends.Worth every penny for a budget build!
. It all depends on your perspective on what's 'cheap' (or inexpensive). Something cheap for someone can be not as cheap/inexpensive to another.

Re: need to cruise at 50!
the OP should rethink whats hes asking if i was him i would try 9.1 gears, varator, and a new set of clutch springs first... if he wants more he still needs this stuff if he goes with a bbk... if he does decide to go bigger then he can sell/trade the 9.1's for 8.4s... this aprouch would get him going for cheap and get him in the door for scooter tuning
