can i run this elite intake..
http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-ELITE-SB5 ... _601wt_908

and then get carbon fiber elite reeds

and run this spacer so i can keep the oil pump setup?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-CH80-CH-8 ... 500wt_1416

if this set up will work can i keep the stock carb? and will this add alot of mph? (get me to 30+)

You should get a hold of VT Cycles, and let them know what you would want to do.

The manifold will work but it will not let the carb fit the airbox anymore.

The spare will NOT work. The mounting bolt spacing is too wide.

Sure the carbon fiber reeds will help but if you see 1 mph increase you will be lucky. Also losing the airbox means you have to rejet, not for performance but to keep from melting your piston from being to lean.

i didnt say anything about losing my airbox do you mean that will help with performance? and can i run a elite intake and still keep the oil pump?

If you use the Elite manifold, which is a different length than the Spree manifold, the airbox will not fit anymore. So the oil pump question is moot.

o i see. so if i run elite manifold, carbon fiber reeds, aftermarket air pod, and rejet will i get a few more mph or is it not worth it?

Before I started screwing around with the intake system or the engine itself, I would pull the left side cover and check the belt. Oh and if you scooter is an IOWA scooter, 25 mph is all it will do without derestricting it.

alright i looked up my vin and my scooter is NOT an iowa spree but the exhaust i have was off someone elses scooter.. The restriction on a iowa spree is just a washer on the part of the muffler that connects to the cyliner? i looked and didnt see a washer and the hole that connects to the cylinder is the same size as the pipe so im pretty sure its not restriceted.
