The one with the purple scooter is which witch is better, because brooms suck.

I like the foam filter over the k&n cotton one, because the k&n ones seem to get dirty faster.

i dont think one will be better than the other.. the uni will be cheaper than a k&n one for sure. as for flow wise its a toss up. the size of the filter on the other hand will make a difference on flow.

I have a K & N filter on my scooter. Recently got caught in a rain. No side panel on the scooter. Water getting to the filter for sure. No affect noticed. I "feel" like the UNI filter would have absorbed the water and been less likely to perform as well. FWIW.... :urban:

I have had the k&n style before and they do get dirty quickly! And my rain experience was not so good starts to bog as it got wet(rich) and have just now started trying a uni style to see which is better!!

no not really. unless again the size of the k&n style filter your using. the small cone ones will run a tab bit richer.but if your getting a k&n filter that about 3 1/2in round at the base and about 5 1/2in long then no difference flow wise.
