Greetings:
I strongly recommend you fix the ill-fitting cover so that gaps are minimized or eliminated. The cylinder is taller and sticks out in places where the AF16 cover is fouled, maybe because the design is intended for AF18? Anyway, nothing that can't be overcome. I shaved a couple head fins down and re-drilled the spark plug hole. You can use aluminum tape to cover the gap left by the repositioned hole. I arfully carved a bit of carbon sheet I had lying around for a more durable and permanent solution. The extra little hole is to run the CHT gauge wire.
Leave it wheezing throught big gaps between the covers and out the plug hole at your peril.
