overheating problems

Post by PurpleMonsta808 »

i have an 120 stroker and my bike always gets hot very fast even just cursing at 45mph
i recently got a new bore and want to find out what i can do to prevent my bike from overheating
specs on my motor:
-new pg bore
-28oko
-stroker scopion pipe
-6.8 gears
wanted to know what compression i should set it at?
what jets i should put or start on?
what springs and weights i should run or start with?

Make sure the tester end is on tight snd the oring on the end is good. Keep kicking it till the needle stops.kick it hard too. I add head gasket to lower the compression and not base gaskets.mske sure the fuel line is going in a down hill flow. If at any time the line is either flat or going in a uphill flow, the carb will lean out

130 is good. Makes sure everything is tight. Triple check even the next day when its cold. Not always you will see signs of leakage. Most times its sucking air in.

Start with the common jetting starting point and carb adjustment and go from there.
