Yeah of course, 671 measured around the belt with a cm. tape. Sorry for the typo. The Met Bando still runs really well, with no slip or abnormal wear at all. Still getting around to making a GPS run, but feels like 70 easy, and almost as quick acceleration as with the 669.
did you have an update on the 660 belts? Which one you like best, and how it changed your top speed?

Greetings:

I like the Met belt, despite much dispute from certain now-gone parties.
I've pestered RedEft about selling me a Malossi ZX Special, but somehow we haven't connected.
Basically if it's shimmed right and the length is in the ballpark, a belt is a belt is a belt. Issues of durability then matter more than the minor performance differences.

I'll have to check tomorrow but I out a gates 660 belt on yesterday and I didn't get higher on the variator (marks still same as before). The revs did hit 11800-12000 rm where before I only hit 10700 or so. I didn't have my gps so I do know what mph I hit. I'll test tomorrow.

Perhaps I need to shim the front boss?
