Ordered 3 sets of tires from these guys over the years and been very happy. How well the 90/90's fit totally depends on what scooter you're putting them on.

Awesome. They are going on a 2001 Honda Elite S. Not sure that any of those would work.

Stupid question: Do they sell any kind of 90/90 Dual Purpose tire? Basically looking for a tread pattern similar to the Honda Ruckus but didn't know if anyone even made something like that?

So looking into some new tires for my SA50P wheels on 2 of my scooters. I understand the wheels are for a tubed tire from some older threads. Does anybody know if these tires would fit the elite wheels fine? Also what would be better the 90/90/10 or the 3.5x10? Thanks for the help.

I believe kenda makes a on/off road tire but don't use a tube, i would never take a honda scoot off road, a yamaha zuma can take trails.

Going from the 10x3.00 to 90/90 was a pretty good increase in stability for speeds over 35mph. I believe the ability to fit a 90/90 in the rear also depends on the type of shock you have. On my Sym DD50, I had to dremel the lock ring so it would not cut a groove into the tire. I also placed a washer on the lower shock mount to push the shock as far away from the tire as possible.

Another idea is running a 90/90 in the rear and a 10x3.50 in the front. I once saw this in the Honolulu area.

I have put a 3.50x10 and a 90/90 on the back of my '01 sa50. with a true rim it is not a problem. if the rim is out of true though there is a good chance of it rubbing. As far as I can tell the 90/90 and the 3.50x10 are very close to the same size. The 90/90 might be a little narrower. And I agree with maddog about offroad use. the elite rims are a little weak for offroad and the front suspension is a bit hairy offroad as well.

this is the tire I got last... I really like in the rain and snow.http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/59 ... ooter-tire

I'm a sucker for continental zippy 1's. definitely not a snow tire, but they grip extremely well in the corners. And I believe by 3.5" zippys were a touch taller and narrower than my 90/90 zippys. A 3.5" tire doesn't look like it would clear my af05e case...
