i disagree if you use only the clutch (not the pully) and use the dio clutch bell and cut the side cover in half so the clutch is exposed then yes you can use the dio clutch

It may be worth cutting one up. WIth a AF16 clutch he would have more options for grabber springs. The spree could really use a higher stall conversion. I will have to look at the spree case I have VS. the dio bell. as long as the bell is not taller than the case he could dremel or bore the case to just allow for the bell to clear. Like Trafficjamz did on the AF16 he sold me and I copied it on my other case. Great for keeping the clutch cool.

Later engagement "stall speed" is what I really need. I did order a set of 3-7000 RPM malossi springs for a zuma that will fit perfectly. So i'm hoping that will get me in the RPM range I want. I need new clutch shoes and ran into that one on sleezbay so I figured I would ask.
I wish I would have just went with the Dio set up before I went balls deep into this spree.

I did this mod back in 2010

Things You need to do for this mod
1. find a GY6 clone, dio, or elite s Clutch and bell.
2. Get some 2k or 3k dio grab springs (depending on how you like to take off) and install them.
3. Do the "spree pulley mod" (Shave down the front pulley boss so the belt rides higher in the front pulley.
4. Take apart the spree clutch/rear pulley.
5. shorten the spree spring by 1/3 (to ease the stress on the belt)
6. attach dio clutch to spree rear pulley with shortened spring in between
7. mod your spree cover so it fits back on (The dio clutch is Big)
new best 1/8th mile time 9.647 seconds @67.155 mph 310lbs total weight
