What the * is this and where do I set it to ( in relation to turns out from fully seated) my bike revs like * choke-out and dies (wont idle) choke in.
my jetting is probably off but i'm about sure i've worn out gears on my kick start trying to adjust this and the other.

It's the idle screw it adjusts the point the slide rests at the "throttle closed" position a good starting point would be to remove the screw completely and slowly screw it in until you can visually see the screw move the slide. assuming everything else is correct low idle turn in high idle turn out.

I got the answer from a different source. I could of assumed all day long but wanted someone to tell me for sure.
I'm trying to run a 28mm carb on a 50cc ( until i get the big bore kit in the mail) and have been having issues getting it all figured out.
i'm gonna say my jets are too large (45 idle 145 main) but they are the ones that came with the carb and the only ones i have (for that carb)

a 28 on a 50 is way way too big.Yes you will have trouble getting that to run properly.Id suggest onf waiting for the bbk and some jet kits
