Rollers and Sliders, equal weight for equal performance ?

Post by Johnniespeed »

If changing from rollers to sliders, and not wanting to change the up-ratio characteristics, do you use the same gram weight for either ?
I use sliders in my NH125 they work nice and rollers in the ch250, I finally got the 250 to shift about right at 19 gram rollers, if I switch to sliders do I stay at 19 grams to keep the shifting ( the up-ratio ) the same ?
1984 Aero 125 57 mph for sale.

Elite 150 64 mph for sale.

Elite 250 77 mph. for sale.

Red Honda Grom, modded to 250cc, 87 mph.

GSXR 1000 168 mph. My new favorite, scooters seems way too slow now.
