What exhaust gasket does everyone use fo aftermarket exhaust? I have a V8 pipe that i cant get to not leak. I've tried red high temp silicone and exhaust sealer combined with the gasket and it still leaks.

I had a V8 pipe and it cost me a piston and cylinder. They are just a low quality pipe. they never seal right. Ask scooter swap shop G9 what he recommends. My advise is the exhaust isn't the place to save money. My scorpion is great.

Yeah I haven't been too happy with it. The flange isn't perfectly flat which I'm sure is part of the problem but it doesn't look bad enough that it wouldn't seal with a gasket. I just use what I can find locally and I'm not sure it's the best option. I'm definitely thinking of getting a different pipe. I'm half tempted to put the stock exhaust back on it just so I can ride it w/o it running lean and getting hot...

1970 vw bug exhaust manifold gasket set from oreily auto is a perfect fit and it's what I use.
