Shock upgrade recommendations

Post by burnt_toast »

Just want to know what's out there or what I should look for. Want something stiffer than stock, and same length preferably.

Saw this on ebay and it looks nice, but cant tell if it'll fit by the motor mount end:

What do yall recommend?

NCY, prodigy has pretty good rear shocks in different sizes and colors... I had an adjustable rdr for my spree handled turns like a champ... more stiff more better

The malossi rs24 are great. I own 2 but a little pricey. Yms is good for a budget also.

A rs3 malossi is a killer replacement if you don't plan on racing at a track, or well it might still work on a track. I like the rs3s offset. The rs24 is not for super wide tires. I run a 90/90-10 metzler me1 and it's close and the 130/70-12 pirelli diablo is even closer.

you can always throw a shock extender to clear back tire or just put a smaller back tire, jetty is a smaller tire

What is the point? I don't get it. I never really payed much attention to whatever went down originally, but it just seems like a huge waste of effort to post all this useless stuff.
