95mj on 50cc sounds super rich to me... High pitch zingy sound is lean.. Crapping dead dull sound rich
Not sure what a stock jet size is but mayb 2-3 up jet from stock because of your pipe..assuming no air leaks

A 21mm carb and a V8 on a stock cylinder? Are you running a BBK?

U remember what your squish Clearence was? Try 32.1 premix sparkplug temp u using.. I think if everything is ok.leaks, comp, squish, piston, ring gap.etc..U just gotta find the right jet till she runs good..trial an error...

Re: help with scooter dying
I might be wrong, but your bike seems like it needs a big bore. You've got a big carb, big mani, big reed cage, big pipe, but small cylinder. I bet w a larger cylinder it'll run better, 49cc is designed for much smaller, more restrictive stuff. Open it up to much and you won't have enough vacuum to pull gas out the jet.

Re: help with scooter dying
Greetings:
Good compression and no leaks anywhere in the block is good. Sometimes the leak is at the carb mount, or (in my case) a forgotten rubber plug over the oil spigot. If the jets are waay rich and still your engine gets too hot (assuming the fan is installed...) it's pulling in extra O2 from SOMEwhere.

Re: help with scooter dying
Why don't you try putting a stock carb back on trains420? Seems like a lot of work for something you can't make work.

Re: help with scooter dying
Nothing offending me. Just interested what the goal is of using a large carb on a stock bore. What's the max speed you've seen vs when it had a stock carb?

Re: help with scooter dying
If youre trying to get something good from my reply take my sagelike advice and run a stock carb on a stock bore. No convoluded message there.
You're the one who can't tune this carb. Not me. I have more common sense than to use a 21mm oko on a 49cc vert honda.
Too funny and walking away laughing now. Bye bye trains420
