Reed block replacements for CT intake

Post by pitobread »

Ive heard of the KX65.

I know stage6 makes one that fits. I am hoping someone has parts numbers/cross reference info as to what actually fits in the typical chrome CT.

Ideally I would like to end up with v force I know top racing and stage6 resell them and they are cheaper than the v force branded, but can't be choosy.

That is the AM6 spacing. Not sure on compatibility yet.

The MotoTassinari V364A is a d*** close direct bolt in.

Boyesen Reeds for the KX65 RM65 can be used on the dual pedal CT manifolds.
Part Number #693 for the dual stage power reeds.

A Quick measurement of the CT intake yields 41.5x51.5 bolt spacing. That means the AM6 probably is a no go.

Yup they cost that much. A few years ago, I got them for 125 shipped and after 400 or so miles, the plastic/composite cage snapped between the petals and went thru the motor but did not cause damage. They replaced them free of charge no questions asked. To avoid this happening again I just sold them.
Currently using the ct black with the metal cage. It comes with the single, 2-stage petal on each side but I run them with the solid stage6 petals from sss.

Pretty sure that will fit but I'd stay away from the Viton material. It's prone to leaking eventually and you don't want that! And the price on that!
Here's where I find good deals-they are in San Francisco. https://www.treatland.tv/OKO-26mm-reed- ... ck-105.htm
Here's the reeds but he's sold out at the moment. He is located in Portland, OR. https://scooterswapshop.com/collections ... iber-reeds

You should be able to use a reed block from a kx65 and then upgrade to whatever reeds you want, I suggest boyeson or v-force. My CT manifold took a little grinding to fit, but I was able to get a stock kx65 block to work for me.
