I was wondering what the most cost effective and performance effective upgrade would be next. I have taken off the variator backplate, drilled out washer in exhaust, upjetted to #78, punched out tab in air box and installed a high performance air filter for more air flow, I also replaced the 9 gram variator weights that had flat spots in them (I polished them so they are viable now if that would be a good idea to switch back) with 8 gram roller weights. I only get about 36 mph top speed and I am 160 lbs.

The next thing I did after doing all of that was buy a polini variator. I think my top speed gained to around 40.

I was also thinking maybe I should buy a new belt because new they are 15.5 mm wide and in the service manual the limit is 15.0 mm and I measured my belt and it is exactly 15.0 mm so itÔÇÖs at the service limit. Would anyone know if 0.5 mm would really do anything?
