Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

I just bought two corsa cylinders, one from Treatland and one from SSS. Both have the same markings below the ports. It looks like boring drill lines that didn’t get honed out. I’ve never seen imperfections in a bore except porosity on nikasil bores. Is this normal for corsa bores? The marks are below the ports but the rings still land there at BDC. They are not raised so maybe they would not damage the rings and maybe actually help hold more oil where needed?
