gearing
where can i find the cheapest set of gears 9:1 ratio for a 2000 elite sr with the mrp stage 2 powerpack. i already have the powerpack i just need the gearing right. All input would be greatly helpfull and thanks to all that apply
umm you might want to go with some lower gears. 8.44:1 gears at least. if the power pack is strong enough you might even want to go with 7:1 gears.
VtCycles has them for 35-45$ pending on brand. Unless any one else has a better place Vt Cycles is were i would go. Plus every body that works there is very nice and would make sure you got the right gears for your bikes set up.
[there website is kinda outdated, its best just to call them]

gears are a big help with the breaking in process. they allow you to go faster at lower rpms.
i run a few bikes of mine with out gears. so its not like a thing the bike needs. but it just makes everything much easier on the motor. And will ensure a long life.

Try VT Cycles, they'll set you up with some gears.
