whats the top mph with the chevy filter and the bored intake and size 70 jet and the holes drilled in the exhasut and the shaving of the fornt pulley?

the chevy air fliter is bad for the spree but i would say 33-35

I would say 35-40 mph. Air filter is not "bad" for the spree. You just have to do a little tuneing. Mess around with jet size thats all.

can someone show me a pic of the chevy filter i would like to se it because im looking for an aftermarket air filter but i cant find one

they sell filters made for this on vtcycles.com just make sure it is for a stock carb. its called the "pod unifilter"

or measure the outside diameter of the carb(where the rubber pipe attaches to the carb) intake. go to an aftermarket autoparts supplyer that sells K&N filters and get them to order you one that will fit over the the intake that you just measured. they look like miniture cone filters that you see on honda civics and stuff.

I think this one will fit but take a measurement first to be sure.

This is what I use on my Spree but I'm not 100% on the part # because I dnot have the box any more. I dont like the chevy breathers personally but they have info about them on that site too if you really want one.

every little thing helps.

the theory is the more air and fuel you can cram into the cylinder the bigger the explosion = more power.

yes you will notice a differance once you get it tuned right.
