Im havein a hard time understanding exhaust drilling help me
Hey guys im having a rough time understanding how to drill the baffles. when you say drill 2 holes does it mean 2 holes in each baffle or do you just stick the drill in and drill straight back till you go through 2 baffles creating 2 total holes 1 in each baffle?

get a long drill bit, stick it in the end of the tail pipe, drill.
It will get really hard to drill, thats a baffle. When you get though it, it will get easy for a inch or two, then you will hit another baffle. so drill though that too.
then your done.

I was getting about getting about 75mi/gal on my *fully stock* '01 elite s. After boring the exhaust and removing the variator restrictor I just calculated 92.5mi/gal while going 10mi/h faster.does anyone know how it effects gas?
It makes sense--less back pressure from the exhaust means freer expulsion of exhaust gases means more O2 means more energy yield per cycle. By the way I accidentally did a wheelie the first time I rode my de-restricted hog--watch out.
