i dont know how you guys were able to get the motor to fire off the blaster coil

ironically before i ever found this forum i was tearing down my uncles 84 spree and i couldnt get spark from the stock coil,, i had a blasterSS coil laying around the shop and slapped it on there.. i would get an awesome spark when it was jumped off the car ,, but when i tried to start it off the battery (brand new battery, that day) it wouldnt fire at all. didnt seam to have enough amperege.

maybe i was doing something wrong.. either way got a new coil (stock) and it runs great now.

i have used them both and i can tell you that it will not increase preformance or reliablility. it will work, but not better then the stock one.
