1. Remove the rear carrier
2. Remove the bolt, nut and screw attaching both rear frame covers and 3. Remove the rear *frame covers.
4. Remove the screw attaching the air cleaner case cover and remove the air cleaner case cover.
5. Remove the air cleaner element.
6. Wash the Element in non flammable or high flash point solvent, squeeze out and allow to dry.
7. Soak the element in clean motor oil (SAE 10W-40) or gear oil and squeeze out excess.
8. Reinstall the element, element holder and air case cover.
