Flying back out of portland? I'd go PDX butthole bend. Might not want to spend much time I medford that way it gives you the option of more time in bend or Portland

Lol Whitey. I havent laughed that hard in a while.

Against popular opinion here, were probably gonna spend more time in the crime ridden Medford/Ashland area than Portland. Unfortunately for our relationship as fellow scooterists, my wife is turned off by the rain. As of now, were gonna focus on Ashland, Bend and possibly the mega-tropolis of Redding CA. Were flying into Portland, and the plan for now is to start driving south the next morning. Doesn't sound like were going to be spending much time in the big city.

Things can always change though. We like small town living. We like nature. We like sun and warmth. Muskegon is horrible for crime but its centrally located to the Heights mostly.

The average temp for Grand Rapids MI for the month of feb 2015 was 13.3 degrees. That's for the whole month. I have at least 1.5" of snow in my yard. its been since mid-January since we've seen a day that reached 40 degrees. So far, the only day that has reached 40 degrees this year.

Got an interview lined up in Medford, and 1 in Redding.

I cancelled the interview in Redding today. The climate there is a little less than desirable. Like the polar opposite of Portland. Mt. Shasta was only open for a couple weeks this year for skiing because of the drought. Once I cancelled the interview, the guy from Redding started with the religious talks. No biggy, I'm a man of faith, but I read somewhere that Redding is sort of weird like that.
No set interview in Medford now either. I'm trying to setup a lunch date with the Manager from my company out there, but I think ill wait til were a little closer to the time of arrival. I'll be flying into Oregon late April 6. Flying out of Portland really late on the 12th, getting back here on the 13th.

Hey man you'll be here for spring scoot which is the 10th-13th. Gonna be lots of rides weather permitting. As of now rain starting tomorrow with no end in site. my wife just told me she has to work out of town that weekend so I'll only make it on that Sunday but it's looking to be huge gathering

Denver is amazing this time of year, 300 days of sunshine! Great for scooter riding around town or the mountains.
This weekend we rode up in the Rocky Mountains around estes park. Up to 9400 feet in the park.
