Cool,....odinxxix has been pm'ed about it.....the organizer gave me the green light on riding a scooter........would be great time if we get together there......I'm hoping to bring a Gyro and my XL 100.......

im gonna try to talk my neighbor in to going so i can get my scoot there, i live 65 miles north of there. if anybody north of me or in lafayette hook me up with a ride and way to get my scoot there.

There's a group of 10 or more riders saying they'll be coming in from Lafayette....dont remember their name.....it's on the mopedarmy post......I'm gonna be busy for four days getting squared away for this trip....I'll be out for 10 days........Sunscreen already packed...................

A good time had by one and all........25 bikes........Rain took us out late Saturday, and Sunday........still, new friends and rippin' peds to look at........

Thanks for the report and pics. I did not see pics of your scooters in the mix, but know you had the Honda side with class. How did the 'ped guys do with a trike with a rider than gets it on to 2 wheels?

My plan to have the Gyro ready never got any wind in the sail......I opted to take the Elite 80 for the rally [seen in last group of pix with Union Jack on front] and my CM 450 for the following week of kicking around with old friends........the Chiefs are good hosts, and didn't blink an eye when I detoured onto a sidewalk, pulled off a Dukes of Hazzard jump across a footbridge, and catapulted most of my gear out of the milk-crate......with the busy month of June behind me, aggressive action on the Get Bent build is in order.......the yellow/black bike is a Pinto by J. C. Penney.....belongs to president of the chiefs....to the credit of the riders in this rally, breakdowns were almost non-existent, but as in every-day city traffic, the general population displayed impatience sharing the street with a group of bikers.......even to the extent of tossing beer bottles at us.....for this reason, I have refrained from "packing" knowing that it would result in me going to jail....I'm too old to start that sh**.......thanx for the shout mouse......rock-on.....
