When I picked up my VTR250 today, the seller had a couple of "smokers" in the garage.

Getting this Sachs back in service should be easy.
I am very eager to feel this one...has the potential to be extreme.
Have passed on others before, but this deal was a $$ no-brainer.
Temps are keeping me off the bikes for now.
I have no heat in the garage, but that is gonna have to change soon...

The VTR250 could be yours Jumps...riding it for two days, 100+ miles each day caused some pain in my arms that took two weeks to go away. I was afraid that something like that would happen, but insisted on having a go. No regrets, but there is little sense in keeping it...

I saw that exact same bike in person and was gonna buy it almost a year ago from a guy in Oakridge, he was gonna brig it over to a friends the next day and I just came across the spree instead. I wanted a bike to restore, but wish i jumped on that bike a while ago. I love 80s series cars and bikes. something about them screams passion in the detail and design. I think he wanted 2500 for the bike when i looked at it, if that isn't it then someone else has restored a bike to the same exact cleanness.
EDIT: after looking into it, it is the exact same bike, holy crap that cool.

Thank you ped. On Dec.12, 2015, I led a group on a 100+ mile ride
for lunch at the Riverview restaurant in Ashland City, TN.
The VTR250 was sure fun to ride, but that sport-bike position plays H/E/L/L
on my body. I have some rotator-cuff issues.
The other two are VFR500 and VF700 Interceptors.

Don't hesitate...buy it...ride the bejeezus out of it...you won't be sorry.
And then you won't have any trouble selling once your satisfied.

If I had any money I would.
I'm deep into fixing two mopeds and still have a derbi scooter or two to mess with.
