Smack talkers and trolls.

Ok I've noticed a lot of smack talk or misinformation coming from one particular member. The bad hints or advice is the worst part because new members take it serious sometimes and thats sad!

A lot of people complain about Bear but at least he is usually giving useful information (* he has called me stupid on occasion but that's not what this is about) so he is not the person this is referring to.

Don't feed him and he will starve and go away!!

I know it's hard but. Don't feed the troll, it's been said before.

Alternatively admin mute the sucker!

No problem in naming the punk, especially if you're talking about maddog. His posts are more useless than snow-tires in Miami. Even you and I got caught up once in confusion with the b*llsh*t that maddog is full of.

He's on my enemys list via the forum control panel. It autohides his posts, but when someone responds or quotes him, I see those, and can deduce that's he's out trolling.

At this point the ill-tempered puppy is fun to listen to for me. Every once in awhile a grizzly tells him something clever to keep him from barking at the kids walking to school.

Agreed. Strange for him not to visit almost every day.

Thats a good point. I know when he came and grabbed a Aero 80 a few months ago he was not doing very well. Hmmm. I will PM him.

hmm, he was being told by several members to cool his jets in regards to the gruff manner in which he sometimes posts. Maybe he is just taking a sanity break . :D

Maybe Bear is selling off some Aero's...

Doesn't this CL post sound like him?

1984 HONDA AERO NH125 SCOOTER (125cc, 2-stroke)

Honda's largest 2-stroke scooters released the Aero 125 (NH125).
I've gone over on all key areas making for a near new scoot that's fun and will last.
Hit's 48-52mph on a flat (via my GPS), offers roughly 65-70 MPG, in good shape and good looking, easy to ride and maintain, comfortable seat, can keep up in traffic situations and more.
Other than mods using lighter roller weights in the front variator (a standard CVT mod done to these scoots), the scooter was kept stock.
It was fun to work on and it's even more fun to ride

There are minor issues with two body parts (listed below) but essentially a scoot that's in fantastic shape.

* The only thing you'll need is a new battery (this one is over 5 yrs old and due for replacement. Batt type: YB5L-B, CB5L-B).
NOTE: I AM WILLING TO CONSIDER BEING FLEXIBLE ON PRICE REDUCTION FOR COST OF NEW BATTERY. Putting one in is a snap btw. Easy.

It's been fully gone over with new O.E. Honda parts. Gotta make room there now so we're selling.
Clean title (but it needs tabs).

List of 100% new O.E. Honda parts put into this:
* piston, rings, pin, cylinder and engine seals - head gasket and lower cylinder gasket.
* brakes front and rear pads.
* new drive belt (also have a backup, slightly used drivebelt I will throw in)
* New front variator faces
* added lighter roller weights in variator with 12.2gr weights (a standard mod for this scoot). I'll also include the set of 14g and the stock weights.
* Carb gone through, bystarter working, clean and running great.
* New reed valve
* New Honda O.E. headlight
* Windshield added (removable if you prefer)
* Added a DEMO rear trunk (removable)
* Tires 90% tread, near new
* Seat is orig, no re-cover job here nor needed, excellent condition and comfy
* All safety parts and lights checked and working great
* Checked oil feed adjustments to spec. Only genuine Honda GN2 2-stroke oil was used. This is an auto-fed oil scooter btw - no premixing necessary.
* comes with original owners manual and a Honda service manual.
* final drive oil changed annually
*spark changed annually.
* everything is stock Honda Aero 125 btw, and using OE Honda parts acquired long ago.

For those so inclined and interested: These classic 2-stroke scoots however leave room for tweaking, extra gains for torque/speed/overall. I usually opt to restore stock.

*i would NOT get on a freeway with this scoot or any other scoot less than 200cc
** you will need a MC license as this scoot is above a 50cc.

Cons / Parts I did not get to:
- Left side rear panel back corner section of plastic mount is taped (but it works right now as is of course).
- Replace rear valve stem, very slow leak there. After a few weeks you may need to put a bit more air in rear tire. Tires are near new with NO punctures. valve stems are old.
- missing a small piece below seat (seat latch lock panel). Does not hinder seat operation though, just cannot lock unless buying and adding the lock piece/plate.

I also have a box full of all part #'s and receipts of all the O.E. Honda parts (too many to list here).

SALE DETAILS: PLEASE READ
- Please reply with the days date in subject if you want a reply. I will not reply to basic "is it available" and like questions.
- I will only meet at my bank nearby (BOA) for test riding and/or sale. Bank will hold $ during test drives making for easy/safe transaction for both parties.
- A valid drivers license must be on-hand.
- Cash only please and adherence to the above - do not bother to move forward otherwise.

Thank you. Enjoy the scooter, beat the gas prices!

I don't know man, the poster doesn't call you an idiot or tell you to clean the carb for a fifth time so it might not be him.
