94 elite sr or a 86 elite 150

Post by LMH »

I can get a 94 elite 50 sr for 400$ or a 86 elite 150 for 500$, both with titles the 94 has 6k miles on it and the 86 has 1500. Which would you guys get? If my buddies truck was bigger Id try to get them both but theyre too far apart to go there for one and come back and go back out 3 hours for the other.

Choice depends on your personal needs.
For playing around, the SR will satisfy.
I'm not knowledgeable about the mods possible for the SR model.
That is something you will find in this site.
For commuting, taking a passenger, picking up groceries, etc., the Elite 150 is my choice.
You will still have plenty of fun on the Elite.
Only 1500 miles for $500 is a fabulous bargain.... :thumbwink:
Summary: You decide, but I choose Elite 150 for my needs... :urban:

Get the 150, then you're halfway towards building this thing:

I just bought this kymco zx50 for 400$, told him Id buy it today if he gave me a break. Runs great missing the mirrors and weak paint job. But not bad.
