The transmission gasket is easier to put on than any other gasket. All you do is remove the left side cover and then the trans cover easy. I have done this about 5 times. I have one if you would want to buy it.

El Gato means "The Cat."

When you replace the gasket make sure to clean all the old oil out with a rag. I wouldn't use solvent (brake clean, etc) as you don't want to wash out the bearings.

when i put a new cluch on mine i accedntly put a wrong bolt in the wrong spot and it messed up the threads. but my dad retaped it and now we cant tighten the bolt that much and it leaks a little from the bottom when it is warm. i was not sure what to do i was going to put seal all on the bottom of the trans but i want some more info on it :D

Ya, you have to be awfully careful when tightening bolts. It helps to use the torque specs. It is easy to strip that light alluminum. It may work to put in a longer bolt. There may still be a few salvageable threads a little further back in the thread hole. Try that.
