85 spree plastics

I just stumbled onto my 85 spree with everything, including all plastics, completely intact. Petcock cover and all.

So I'm curious. Are the plastics hard to come by? I feel like I read something about people hating when people decorated the plastics cause they were rare. If this is the case, has anyone had any luck making other plastics fit even if they drastically changed the look of the scoot? I know the turn signals screw into the front panels on the 85 but I'm still curious.
