The K-pipe looks ok, but with the inverted shocks, styling and Kawi name I think it is worth the extra grand. IMHO

Just buy a used grom with tons of mods for the price of the k pope and call it that. K dknt see why people buy those bikes new. There gross in my opinion should be a 1500 usd bike not 3000

I can understand buying a scooter and making it fast but you cant make a grom fast without another 2 thousand on top of the 3 thou it cost. It hoes what 55mph stock thats pretty gross of ran engine that size, they should of geared it longer on the top and gave it water cooled for that price. I sat on a first gen one and ive riden a secound gen both felt cheap and crappy. Im sure the kawi is prkbably better faring side but both look the same gross designs and cheap parts.

Buy a ktm 125 if you want a fun small bike thats worth the moneg imo

Not sure about the Grom, which KTM, the RC 125, that is like $5K U.S. Nothing about the Kawi looked as you said cheap and crappy. Styling is very subjective. Do you really think a Spree looks that good or for that matter an Elite? I have a 2003 Zuma, Yamaha has had the same basic look since 2002, it is time for an update. They all look good for what they are, scooters.

Different dimensions though, right? Grom and this have smaller wheels, 12". Kymco is a 16" wheel. Like scooter vs moped.

Thank you, finally someone that decently agrees

I like the looks of the kawi more than the grom. And it looks a little bigger maybe? Hard to tell from the pics online. The k-pipe's big wheels probably make it a nice riding bike, and it definately looks "roomier".

True, the comparison is more in the cc's and bang for your buck category.
Have not sat on Kpipe yet, but have ridden with Groms and seen the Kawi.
Still having a hard time "wanting" a new bike with 12" tires.
The last time I did this (2014=Sym Wolf 150) it was for the same logic = bigger wheels = the feel I want.
graphite9 may have a valid point regarding quality...I will be closely scrutinizing.
