I just noticed that I have a couple of private messages I sent out in this forum that are still in my message outbox and never got sent. One of them has been there for 17 days. What causes PM's to get stuck in the outbox and is there anyway to flush them out? When I do a search, it seems like this has been answered before.. that is, it simply means the person I sent the PM to hasn't logged in and read it yet, and it will stay in the outbox until they read it. However, I think I remember that back in the day, one used to get an automatic email from noiseguy saying that you had received a private message. I don't get those emails any longer. Am I imagining this or have things changed in that respect?

You can select the "sent" messages and then open the pm, elect to delete it if it's a nuisance to you being there, unread.
I turned off the "notification" of a received pm option soon after I joined the forum as it was a nuisance to me.

Messages go unread...people never open them...I delete them after a while.

mm.. didn't we used to get an email when we got a PM message? I don't get the emails any longer, and I think I have the email notification turned on.. I just sent you a PM.. let me know if you got it..

Yeah, got the pm and read it. Moskito would be a steal.
Don't about your email notification...Mine has been off long time.
