well i went to go buy the mint spreethat i got offered for $150 and as soon as i pulled up i started to celebrate because i saw that it was actually an elite. i guess the guy doesnt know his scooters so i am now the proud owner of a 1989 mint honda elite with 780miles! i love that variator!

that thing is a lot faster then the spree but i took the crankcase cover off and there is no variator. the pulley on the engine is huge tho. is the variator in the clutch?
