Is there any interest in having a scooter get together this summer.

If so post your suggestions as to when an where and we will get a consensus.

I was thinking maybe at one of bakaracer's races.

A meet up at one of bakaracer's events would be good for me. Baka sure can build, tune and ride 110%+ crushing guys through corners. A post race celebration would be fun. I don't think there's a lack of interest, we need to get fully coordinated. Clearly the WA/Or area is an active and talented lot, I hope to meet you on both counts.

I'd suggest for those interested, we put together a group messaging list, and get organized. Please pm mousewheels if you want to be in for group events, and either I or Bear will keep you in the loop. I'm guessing Bear is up for this, in fact I'd put scooter parts up as a bet he is in.

If anyone is up for a meet-up in the Alki area this weekend 08/13, 08/14 - (chosen to be closer you south end folks) I'm up for it and will host at Salty's or your choice (I don't know Alki that well) Pick a day, place and time, get some pm's going and we're set.

Next meetup will be Sat Sep 10, 1pm. Get your reply and general location in early.

This Sat we met up near downtown Tacoma, Bear, Chevy1966, Martynkim and mousewheels were present. A perfect day, martynkim picked out a popular historic burger place. We spent the afternoon with eats, riding and chatting in sunny, yet cool weather. Ride was to a very popular and scenic Puget Sound park, with a 5 mile a loop ride inside.

Bear's Aero80 had the big trunk he's posted, and his manual vacuum cold start valve mod. Here's a pic of Bear's add on trunk brace. This is a good idea, I've been looking at adding a trunk to the '98 Elite and it needs more rear support. This might be just the ticket.

Come out and see everyone's rides and mods!

Right now, I don't have a rider =( That is licensed except for the 750. I'll take it if you don't act snooty about it =)

I like the Vashon ride idea. Also, we discussed what to do in case it's a rain day. You guys down there in the South sound area, pick out a good food rain place for a back-up and were covered for any PNW consequence. Ride or none, lets be sure to meet and plan the next 6 months.

Okay, I'll take my bike out there this weekend time permitting. Scout out the area find some flat roads.
Just see what it is like. I have never been there. I will let you know what I find. If I go, it will either be on a CT90 or my virago 750.
Need to get the CT inspected for a license. First need to get it running. I have been working on the Aero I have For Sale to make it reliable. http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/mcy/2566298272.html
