Our first rally as a club and the day could not have went much better.
Weather was dry with moderate temperature and the group numbered about 75 at ride time.
Only one very short break-down on a 50+ mile route.
Traffic control was handled by Ruby and a few other willing members.
The original venue chosen for this rally/bike show was Zombieshop, the local moped Mecca.
Unfortunately, something happened the previous weekend that caused a last minute venue change.
Literally overnite, our guys arranged for another location and got the word out with huge success.
This meant that 180 people who had accepted invitation had to be notified.
I shot some quick pix before the ride, but not much after that.
Pseudomoto has gained some respect with the moto-crowd here, and we are proud to be legitimate, regardless of our name.
All makes are welcome in the club, with the focus remaining on vintage motos.
In one long year, membership has grown from 30 to 152.
At 3:00 p.m. returning riders placed their bikes in appropriate categories for judging.
My '74 XL 100 took first place in class. Trophies were homemade by members, but very well done.
I have not taken pix yet of trophies...I'll get that later since it's sitting in my living room...lol
Presentation at 5:30 was the culmination for me as I had a wedding reception to attend.
The gang however had a full evening of live bands and malty beverages until (I don't know) when.
My pix are too large to load... ...my program is unfamiliar to me due to recent changes...
Will add as they become available....
