How to install a performance YWS V8 exhaust complete.

Post by Limp1144 »

Hi guys as you know i am selling all the dio parts from ruima. Today i took off my derestricted 28mm taiwan exhaust and swapped it out for the high performance YWS V8 exhaust. Verdict scooter will wheelie from 15mph all the way to 35mph then drops the front wheel. This exhaust probably added 3-4hp to the scooter. Night and day. Please bump or leave positive comments thanks honda spree and elite 50 forums

Step 1: Know what tools you need for the job
Socket wrench
Socket sizes; 8mm,10mm,12mm
Flat head screw driver
Also a high temp gasket maker

Step 2: Remove seat and some plastics

Wouldn't this post have fit better in Performance Technical?

And what, no exhaust washer?

Greetings:

Honda does not recommend any goo around the exhaust port. A properly-installed exhaust gasket should be sufficient. The goo can cause problems if it gets into the stud threads or drops into the cylinder. I would refrain from using it.
