Milano Kinetic

Post by BigDan »

I just bought a 2002 Milano Kinetic 50cc, it has a 73cc cylinder on it but no piston the guy lost it. Does anybody know what make of engines comes in these? or where I can order a 73cc piston kit?

Thanks Dan

they have always been able to get those import parts I've needed and keep a large inventory for scooters too

I think its made in India. I took apart our pw80 it has 47mm piston and 12mm pin same as the kinetic.I put the piston on the Kinetic rod put the cylinder on and the deck height looks right. I think I am going to try it.

I know this is an old thread, but I had the first 3 port milano 73cc in the united states. With a Modified technigas Dio Pipe and some Vairator weights, and a metric ton of Dremel porting, it would maintain 50MPH all day, (even with a tiny 17mm carb) until one of the Circlips holding the wrist pin in the cylinder let go. and I parked it never to return. (this did not come from Pennsylvania?)

motor is a Licensed AF05E Copy, to be honest it's almost a bolt for bolt clone of the 80's aero 50. It's a shame it never took off. I bought it new in 2001 for $600

I later bought a Elite 80 with no title to ape the motor from and put it in the legally registered Milano, but I left both behind when moving to Florida.

I just Joined today because tomorrow I am most likely buying a Honda lead. (and starting all over again) Too bad we can't buy those $90 73cc kits anymore. I'd buy one today.
