The CDI racing after market box's are wortless in my opinion. they just look cool, but you will not notice any performance differnces beteween the stock cdi and the racing cdi unless you have a CDI that has a restricter.

My understanding of the kymcos leads me to believe this will be worthwhile. Most kymcos have a rev limiter and a transmission limiter. Ensure your drive boss is not fat on one side and with the pulley you might see mid-forties-ish. depends.

Greetings:

Without direct experience, a photograph and vendor's hype are not reliably going to predict outcomes. It also depends on what you're upgrading from. Note how the the guide blocks on the variator casting appear to extend beyond the inner rim of the variator. This suggests that this item permits a little extra variator travel, this raising the front belt loop a little closer to the edge. This would be expected to increase the belt-drive's "overdrive" ratio just a little, thus theoretically permit a higher top speed. This assumes your GY-6 has the ponies to work it up there. Finally, tuning the rollers to the engine's powerband is essential to make use of those horses.

Sure, I have owned two. I just have not put them on kymco scoots. This is the same vari that BT sells (looked the same in the pic so I asked and he said it is the same one).
