Best Performance Pipe for a '01 Jog?

Post by donut »

Yamaha Jog Nextzone 2001
Everything stock presently.
I will be checking to see if it is restricted in the next couple days.

Challenge for mods is altitude (lack of oxygen - 30%, 5700' above sea level)

* Leo Vince ZX has been recommended
* Just missed buying a barely used YMS V8

What would other members recommend?
I would like to make modifications in stages if possible.

Thanks in advance

If your going to leave the stock cylinder.. The zx is good.. Its also not to bad with the bore kit.. But if ever getting a bore kit, the leo vince tt, is a titanium 70cc exhaust,, sounds awesome and excellent performance.. Yasuni also makes a handful of nice pipes

Ok, I'm intrigued.
IF I jump right in and get a bore kit with the tt and avoid buying 2 exhausts, which kit would you go with?
and do both leo pipes require removing the cone?

and which Yasunis do you like?

at this point I am seeking expertise as to what I should look for (my first mod...)

Any positive or negative thoughts on a Technigas Next R exhaust?

The TT is broader and the zx is more peaky for power. Yasuni are great pipes and race quality but they have to at their prices.

For a pretty pipe, I think the Tech is the cheapest chrome pipe.

Tt.. Yasuni r,z or c16.. I own a zx now.. And before the zx had a stage 6 pro.. Stage 6 is way better of a pipe.. The replica is also a nice pipe for the price
