1994 Yamaha Axis

Post by evilone »

I just picked this up and wondered if the forks/headset and taillight will fit my 1995 Jog. It is a 1994 Yamaha Axis. It's missing a few body pieces and needs a new piston/rings but has disc brakes and side stand. Or should i not tear it apart and try finding the missing pieces. Motor is the Jog 3KJ motor. I love the cowl under the floorboard area!

when I clearly
called shotgun.

I'd be tempted to fabricate a new foot well floor panel out of aluminium checker or diamond plate and get it running (if you have the papers or can track them down). A bit scratched up but otherwise it's a good basis for a fixer :imo:

I have the Florida title signed off by the owner. Numbers stamped onto frame match numbers on title.

Since it is titled, I vote fix it. Then you have an Axis and a Jog to ride.

Are any scooter shocks gas filled or are they springs?
