Im on my 4th now.. Spmoto and scootercraft both ship fast and have lots of parts for these motors n scoots..i hit 64 on my old school vertical zuma.. It pulled on my first elite hard up top :wink:

They are torque monsters so even a contessa will get you what your looking for.. Over range kit will make it yank hard

We need to know what your 01 motor came from. Is it a vertical or a horizontal minarelli? Both can be made to pull hard but the parts are different. The '01 horizontal engines were made with Taiwan cranks. I would replace that just to be safe. They are known for breaking at higher RPMs.

dont get a stage6 crank, I heard they break!

get a polini crank and polin bearings. got on my motor 3,000 miles on it trouble free! I get 60mph gps with a stock carb 14mm LOL :rock:

If your not doing a real agressive cylinder n just want 55 with acceleration dont even swap your crank..

a liquid cooled kit will always have more hp do to the lower temp- that is suggesting the same pore and same porting on both air and liquid model- i did a conversion on a vento triton- that bike was a rocket ship
