OK, I realize this isn't quite a scooter, but it is a Honda; it is a two-stroke; and most everyone here has probably had one at one time.
I have three bikes I am restoring and none of them have spark. So, rather than waste time decomposing the myriard of issues related to the MR175 ignition system, I am going to try the approach most often suggested - converting to a CR125 ignition. The problem is I can't get a straight answer regarding what parts are needed, what years and/or other models will work, and how to best retain functionality in the headlight and tailight.
If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
