So guys, I need your input, Sunday I'm getting an Eton Beamer, it's got a 70cc bbk 2 stroke, a performance exhaust with expansion chamber, (not in pics) and a oko carb. According to the guy it runs fine. All it needs is a carb adjustment because it getting too much air. What do you guys think about it?

I would be suspicious of the carb jetting being too lean...since the seller tells you it needs a carb "adjustment"...
That is a common statement by sellers when selling something that doesn't run right.

It's crazy, I'm 17 and I've had 4 scooters, I just can't stay away from them it's like some weird obsession/passion of mine.

@swimmingfree are there any other tips you can give me?
@paulpauly it's going to be a blast to ride! Haha
@motormike I intend to give it a thorough looking before I decide.

Its a lot like your vento, but if its getting to much air and its been getting to much air then its probably going to have some issues. Too much air= lean. The eton are known for electronics issues also. In stock form theyre pretty quick because of a higher CR than the normal mina clone.

It shouldn't be a terrible fix. I just need something to ride lol. And what exactly is CR?

Not that I'm aware of. And again, I'm a kid so I really don know alot. I heard if the plug is white, it's running lean. It has to be a light Carmel color or something correct?

@Swimmingfree : The guy said he didn't remember whether it had an 80 or 90 jet. If it's not good enough i'll take the 105 out of my buddy's bike
