Daelim Cordi front rim replacement?

I wasn't sure of where to post this, so it ended up here since technically it's not an official Honda but a clone.

I now have a Daelim Cordi that shakes from the front rim being bent. Moped looks to have been laid down at one point since tell tale signs of scratched plastics and a seat tear is visible.

Question: Does anyone know of any compatible rims for this particular model? It has a disc front end. I'm a bit wary about switching it out for a Chinese rim but those seem to be a viable option at the moment since parts for this particular model are rare.

A search with Google turned up only a few select parts and none were the front rim.
The Daelim S4 series looks almost like the Cordi but it has 12 inch rims. :(
I see the Daelim Besbi although a 125cc and different styling has similar rim size (10 inch) but a search for this model turns up nil also.

If I need to go with a Chinese moped/scooter, does anyone know of a decent make/ model that has decent rims? I'm more for practicality instead of bling (altho decent looking rims would be a plus. ;) ).

Maybe you could switch to a drum brake hub if you really had to. I would hate to give up the disc brakes, but it would be better than not having any at all!

I'd rather not go back to drum. lol. For right now the shake/ shimmy from the warped rim isn't that bad, it's more noticeable with the higher speeds. Low speed runs (30 mph and below) it's hardly there. It's just a bit disconcerting when you're not used to it and definitely when it shows up when on high speed blasts.

I'll try a few different rims to see what will fit (Sym DD50, some other Chinese brand(s); etc). I'll be sure to update this thread when I do find out.

bonesv, Thanks for your input tho'. :) since that is a valid option.

None of the current Kymco USA models will fit (unless I go the drum route). :(
according to one of their printed pamphlet/brochure...

Thanks paulpauly7 but the vibe specs say that it has 12" wheels, I was looking for 10".
I wonder... how weird that would be  ... 12" front, 10" rear
and the handling characteristics of having such a setup... :? :?:

thanks bakaracer for your suggestion; I'm trying to source a dd50 rim right now as they are more plentiful and less expensive than a dio zx rim here on Oahu...

fyi:

The Sym dd50 rim does fit as both are the smaller 10mm size front bolt. What doesn't fit is the stock Daelim odometer gear unless you transfer the whole Sym dd50 front using the dd50 forks. The dd50 forks do not have the mount tabs for the cool looking front wheel fender. :(

As I was pondering... trying to figure out a workable solution, a pair of ZX gold Dio copies were available and bought from Graphite9. (Thanks Graphite9! :worship: ) These were a true bolt on replacement. :) and I'm happier riding now since I aint got no front end wobbles no more!
:woot:

ride on! :coolcruise:
