Trail Tech backlight

Post by DirtyE »

I put a trail tech in last night, wired to battery. I was expecting the backlight to be on when turning the key on, but it doesnt. Just wondering if its supposed to?

Dang, its on the ignition. I put the volt meter on the wires going into the ignition to test for 12v at key turn, then tapped into that wire. Ive got 2 other bulbs coming on tapped to the same line that come on at key turn.

So these things aren't stupid proof. The RPM and Power wire connectors are the same, therefore interchangeable.
DOH!

Install in a well lit garage.
