I got a dd50 from a friend it has 20,xxx miles on it. It was completely stock its whole life but was wondering if crank and bearing should be still good? Shall I change it? I'm gonna build a stock crank 72.

Not going to say it would not last the life of a new bbk, but personally, I would advise full tear down and measure for wear on lower rod. Then new bearings and seals if it checks out.......good luck!!

20000 miles is a lot of seat time!!! 20000/30miles per hour is 666 hours! Did I do that math right? Lol

Rental bikes may see 20k but that's after a few rebuilds of the engine. We service more rental company bikes than any other dealer in denver.
Some old vespas px200s have over 60k on them.
