Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Hello everybody I have a quick question hopefully one of you scooter pros can help me with. I have a buddy who recently got a 2005 Kymco Super Fever ZX50. The motor looks like an AF16 clone, it looks just like my AF16 on my 2000 Elite SA50.. He is trying to map out a build right now (70cc Taiwan bore etc.). He asked me about gears and for his motor I was thinking since the cylinder, pipe, and CVT are the same, the gears would be the same too. So basically my question is...

...Do SA50 AF16 gears fit the 2005 Kymco Super Fever ZX50? Thanks in advance for all the help and please excuse all my nooby-ness.

They do not fit. The final output shaft is different on a sc10as (kymco zx50 engine) and there are not any after market gears. You can run af05e primary gears for a 6.89:1 ratio.
Tell him get a bigger rear tire. 130/70-12.
