brake pads

While looking for dd50 front brake pads on ebay, noticed a lotta other brands. The sym brand brakes r like $20 . Anybody try other brands?

Greetings:

I've installed EBC and Malossi shoes on various Flashes. The grooved ones are supposed to provide additional "bite", but I don't like the idea of less pad material in general. The Malossis tend to squeal but seem to stop a little better. No pad will get around the fact that they're DRUMS, and entirely too small for real high-speed stoppage.

DRUMS? dont symdd50 have front disks?

The front is disc, rear is drum
