crankshaft broke?

i am just wondering why is my crankshaft was cut/diveded into two?right now its fixed already bought oem honda,any reason why my crankshaft broke like that when i saw it it was cut/broken into two .i have good oil supply my piston was not lean but i have to change it bcuz it was damage because of sharp particles that hit.

It broke...because, it broke.

It won't brake, because that's what brakes do, unless they're broke.

Greetings:

Stock Honda cranks and the Malossi full-circle cranks can take abuse for a long time. Other brands, not so much. You didn't say what brand broke, but the stuff from Taiwan has been known to fail, even when the engine tune and oil are "good".

Things break. Anything can break. It happens. I would be interested in how your engine was built, and what actually was happening or happened when it broke.

it was oem crankshaft of sym dd50. what is the rule of the fuel pump vacuum that connect to the nipple port near oil pump?
